At last Otis the “once could not walk dog” was booked and adopted. Today 14th Nov 2011 at 1.10pm he was put into a Ford Uncer and taken off to Kampar. I could not send him off, which I do normally for the animals I rescued. This week had been a bit of “crazy” week for me, shuttling in the highways and the bi-ways catching up all the necessary tasks assigned to me. I left the gate unlocked so that Mr Lum can come in to take Otis himself. I prepared the cage in the morning. I fed Otis at 730am and played with him, talked to him and he seemed to understand and kept very near to me, wagging his tail. He really stayed close to me and sat beside me perhaps knowing it is a very good – Goodbye. I actually was tinged with sadness to part from him. At 1pm, I called Mr Lum and he was there to take Otis. At 120pm they already at Federal highway and I was at Kesas driving to KL. Again my E bag showed and I was with tears. Anyway this always happen when the pets go away. Know what I mean? Last week, I showed the nice picture of Otis to the rescuer, a myamar worker (as in my previous post) and he was very delighted. He kept saying thanks to me. This gentleman also had gone back to Myamar on the 11th Nov 2011.
Today 15th Nov I called the adopter in Kampar, Unlce Ah Tek. He is Mr Lum’ s friend. He said Otis is a very good dog. He is first frightened (still a puppy) and now he is familiar to the new place. Uncle asked me not to worry because he is a dog lover. Otis has a free big space to run in the house compound. Everything with Otis is fine, even though Otis got a big paw, very tall and will be a BIG STRUCTURE DOG. Only this name is difficult to pronounce and he said he will call him Ah Ti @ Ti Ti.. and I said it is perfectly fine. So far for the dogs that go to kampung area, the names are changed, and I can’t get picture even via hand-phone. But I am not worried because Mr Lum visit Uncle Ah Tek often so I can get still get connected. Have a great and good life Ti Ti.. and thanks to MaMa Mei Fah that sponsored for Otis and Mr Lum who drove all the way from Subang to Kampar. Thanks also to Aunt Prem who went with me to clinic when Otis could not walk.
Of course Otis@Titi will remember the kind myamar man who picked him up, Uncle Ah Fook who bring food for Otis before they passed to me. I am very touched by the love of so many people just going all the way out to rescue this once tiny helpless creature. Their
